The San Andreas State Prison Authority (SASPA) is a prison authority that appears in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
Description[]
Correctional SASPA officers appear at the entrance and in various parts of the Bolingbroke Penitentiary, and will defend it along with the LSPD and the Los Santos County Sheriff when it is attacked by the player. They are armed with Assault Rifles, although officers in the watch towers use Sniper Rifles instead. Outside of the Prison, they use Carbine Rifles. Attacking a SASPA officer within the Bolingbroke Penitentiary vicinity will result in the player gaining a four-star wanted level.
The SASPA is based on the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

SASPA Officers wear white or dark grey work shirts, a cap, sunglasses, black boots and dark grey pants with a tool belt. They can sometimes have a handgun holster attached to their right leg.
