Squid is a communications company that appeared in Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas[citation/verification needed] and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories.

Two versions of Squid advertisements for the company can be seen on billboards in Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale in GTA III; one is a regular version with only the logo in view, and another is accompanied by an image of a Sumo mobile phone. The logo can also be seen on the sign for the AMCo. Petroleum Company gas station in Portland in both GTA III and GTA: Liberty City Stories.
The logo may be based on France Télécom's Orange and Cingular Wireless mobile phone network.
