Hematite is an underground subway station in Grand Theft Auto IV, in the Liberty City Subway system, serving the A/J Algonquin Outer Line and the adjoining 3/8 Broker Line.
Description
The station is located in The Meat Quarter, Algonquin on Union Drive West, between the namesake Hematite Street and Iron Street. There are three entrances in total: one on the eastern sidewalk of Union Drive West, another on the western sidewalk of Union Drive West, and the third access point in the pedestrian promenade of Golden Pier, distinctively sheltered by a modern canopy and attached to an LCPD booth.
In addition to Golden Pier, the stop offers convenient access to Rotterdam Tower, only two blocks to the east (though nearby Suffolk station in its namesake neighborhood is much closer).
The station is also unusual in its concourse design, featuring an overhanging walkway linked to the central entrance and linking all three entrance ways to the platforms.
