The Kincaid Bridge is a rail bridge in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas spanning Easter Bay, connecting San Fierro and Tierra Robada in San Andreas. The bridge is part of the Brown Streak Railroad, the state's primary rail system.
It is based on the Forth Bridge just outside Edinburgh in Scotland and like the Forth Bridge, the Kincaid Bridge sits alongside a road bridge, the Garver Bridge, which also has a Scottish counterpart; the Forth Road Bridge. Although unlike the Garver Bridge in relation to the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, the Kincaid Bridge is not based on any particular bridge in San Francisco and is only featured to replicate the two structures in Scotland. Like its progenitor, Kincaid Bridge sports a cantilever design and an orange-red color albeit with two spans rather than three. The presence of a bridge inspired by the Forth Bridge is one of several aspects of GTA San Andreas that reveal the British origins of the game.
The Kincaid Bridge provides somewhat of a northern boundary for the restricted sea and airspace surrounding Easter Basin Naval Station. Straying too far south of the bridge on the San Fierro side runs the risk of obtaining a 5-star wanted level.
- Minigun - Atop the concrete archway on the San Fierro side; it is only accessible after unlocking the desert and Las Venturas areas.
- The name of the bridge is a possible reference to the Clan Kincaid, a medieval Scottish clan.
- While riding or driving a train across the bridge, one of the planes usually seen flying over San Andreas can sometimes be seen slamming into the higher support beams of the bridge.
- During the mission Highjack, if the player decides to cross the bridge, there will be an unique dialogue between CJ and Cesar.
