Light My Pyre is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories given to protagonist Victor Vance by his brother Lance Vance from his home in Ocean Beach, Vice City.
Mission
Victor Vance goes to Lance's house in Ocean Beach expecting to meet Louise Cassidy-Williams, however, when he arrives he finds his brother. Louise's sister, Mary-Jo, turns up and informs Victor that her sister has been kidnapped by Armando Mendez and is being held at the Mendez Mansion on Prawn Island. After a brief argument, the Vance brothers leave and are confronted by two Mendez Cartel gang members. They destroy Lance's Infernus with a rocket launcher before driving off, being followed by the Vance brothers. Despite more attacks from members of the Mendez Cartel, the Vance brothers manage to reach the Mendez mansion. Lance enters the mansion, leaving Victor to kill the Mendez goons outside. Victor makes his way inside and finds Armando, who tells him that both Louise and Lance are dead, and then attacks Victor with a flamethrower. Victor kills Armando and goes upstairs to rescue his brother and Louise. He finds the badly injured Louise, who dies, before Lance wakes up.

Lance Vance: Hey, Vic!
Victor Vance: Hey. Hey, where's Louise?
Lance Vance: I don't know... shit. If that bitch ripped us off. I'll rip her head off!
Victor Vance: Hey, she's clean. Unlike you.
Lance Vance: No, she is a drug addict, I'm just having fun. There's a difference.
Mary-Jo Cassidy: Vic! Vic! They got Louise! They had me too... it was awful... all these men, all sweaty hot and well.. Nobody laid a finger on me, but.. they got Louise.
Victor Vance: What? Who's got Louise?
Mary-Jo Cassidy: They got her, and they said they'll kill her if you don't do what they want.
Victor Vance: Who?
Mary-Jo Cassidy: Armando Mendez... he wanted me too... I could see it in his eyes... these Latino men always like voluptuous women... I nearly got taken!
Victor Vance: Alright, come on Lance, let's finish this!
Lance Vance: Why? She's a train wreck, let him have her.
Victor Vance: What? Are you serious?
Lance Vance: Yeah, move on. Plenty more fishes on the sea, baby...
Victor Vance: You get moving right now, or I shoot you first.
Lance Vance: Alright, alright... I'm coming, I'm coming, don't worry about it.
Mary-Jo Cassidy: Wait! I'm telling you, it was nearly me... one day, it'll be me! One day...
(Victor and Lance leave Lance's home)
Victor Vance: C'mon. Move it. Lance!
Lance Vance: Man, We're wasting our time, bitch is dead already!
Mendez goon #1: Armando has got two things to say: 1 'Get out of Vice now and the girl lives.' 2....
(The Mendez goons destroy Lance's car with a rocket launcher)
Lance Vance: MY CAR!
(When Victor destroys an attacking car.)
Lance Vance: I'm gonna tear Mendez apart.
(When Victor destroys another attacking car.)
Lance Vance: No one does that to my wheel!
(When Victor destroys a third attacking car.)
Lance Vance: He's gonna be sorry that he ever messed with me.
(Victor and Lance drive to the Mendez mansion, avoiding attacks from Mendez goons)
Lance Vance: It's time for some Vance vengeance, baby!
Armando Mendez: DO NOT LET THEM IN! Barricade the door. Kill them.
Lance Vance: Your mine mother-sucka!
Armando Mendez: Kill this idiot!
(Lance shoot Armando while Armando escape from Lance and Vic start killing Mendez 's goons)
Mendez goon #2: Die!
(Victor kills the Mendez goons and enters the Mendez mansion.)
Victor Vance: Louise? Lance?
Armando Mendez: Do you think your hero enough to bring back the dead?
Victor Vance: Where are they Armando?
Armando Mendez: They're upstairs resting... in peace! Would you like to join them?
Victor Vance: If you've hurt them...
Armando Mendez: SeƱor, I assure you, they didn't feel a thing. Unfortunately, the same will not be said of you.
(Victor and Armando Mendez start to fight.)
Armando Mendez: GUARDS!
(Armando starts to attack Victor with his flamethrower.)
Armando Mendez: Is that the best you've got?
(Armando continues attacking Victor.)
Armando Mendez: Bullets! I eat your bullets!
(When Victor kills Armando.)
Armando Mendez: ARGH!
(Victor kills Armando Mendez and rushes upstairs to check on Louise and Lance)
Victor Vance: Louise!
Louise Cassidy-Williams: Hey... Vic.. you came for me... No one ever really did much for me before... that'ssss sweet of you...
Victor Vance: Hey, hey, come on... listen, let's get you to a hospital.
Louise Cassidy-Williams: I don't think... there's much point in that.
Victor Vance: Come on, Louise!
Louise Cassidy-Williams: We coulda had something... special.
Victor Vance: Yeah.. no, we did have something special...
Louise Cassidy-Williams: Make sure Mary-Jo takes care of my baby.
Victor Vance: Oh, Louise... Louise....
Lance Vance: Hey, Vic. I know you care for her man, but, she wasn't right for you. Vic, hey Vic... Family is what matters, oh damn. A'ight... A'ight... I'm gonna make it. I can make it. I know I can man...
