Louise Cassidy-Williams is a character in the Grand Theft Auto series who appears as the tritagonist of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.
History[]
Background[]
As implied from her family name, Louise is the sister of Phil and Mary-Jo Cassidy, and the wife of Marty Jay Williams, the leader of a local gang. She is also the mother of an infant, Mary-Beth Williams, and Vic's love interest.
Events of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories[]
Early in the game, Louise resides in the trailer park with Marty, but grows increasingly unhappy of their abusive marriage, eventually leaving his home, taking Mary-Beth along with her, and staying in Mary-Jo's apartment in Little Havana. Marty, angered by his wife's act of hostility, attempts to kidnap her, but is ultimately killed by Victor. After Marty's death, Louise acts as a business associate and Vic's love interest during the game, although their relationship turns sour later on.
Louise is later kidnapped by Jerry Martinez; his men take her to a lobby where Victor finds her savagely beaten and takes her to hospital.
Louise is once again kidnapped, this time by Armando Mendez' men. They take her to the Mendez Mansion, where Armando shoots her several times, leading to her death. Before she dies, she tells Vic that she thought that they could have had "something special", to which Vic replied that they did have "something special". She dies telling Vic to make sure Mary-Jo takes care of her baby daughter.
