Love & Bullets is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories given to protagonist Toni Cipriani by Donald Love from Donald Love's apartment in the Torrington district of Staunton Island, Liberty City.
Mission
Toni drops by Donald Love's apartment to protect Donald whilst he is generating publicity to help with his mayoral election. The pair end up driving down an alleyway in Newport, which is a Forelli ambush. The Forelli Family gang members open fire on the limousine with M4s. Toni gets a sniper rifle out of the trunk of the car and kills all of the Forelli hitmen. Toni and Donald start to drive back toward Donald's apartment, when another hitman begins to follow the pair in a Bobcat. Toni, however, manages to get Donald back to his apartment, with the pair realizing other tactics will be needed to win the election.
Mission objectives
In order to complete the mission the player must:
- Protect Donald's Limo
- Get in the limo
- Take Donald back to his building
Script
Donald Love: How I hate publicity, but it's all part of the game, right?
Toni Cipriani: 'Fraid so.
Donald Love: The Forellis are going to take me out, aren't they?
Toni Cipriani: Don't worry, I'm going to be riding shotgun.
(Donald and Toni exit the apartment building)
Donald Love: Oh well, here goes everything.
(Donald and Toni end up in an alleyway, whilst Forelli Family gang members open fire)
Donald Love: Shit! This is ridiculous!
Toni Cipriani: Don't panic, I'll deal with these assholes!
Donald Love: There's a rifle in the trunk!
Toni Cipriani: Lock the doors, this wont take long!
(Toni and Donald start to drive away)
Donald Love: There's another hitman after us!
(Toni and Donald arrive back at Donald's apartment building)
Donald Love: I can't fight an election as a virtual recluse.
Toni Cipriani: We'll have to think about using different tactics.
Reward
The reward for completing the mission is $2,000 and unlocks the mission Counterfeit Count mission for Donald Love.
