Maurice Chavez is the host of VCPR in both Vice City Stories and Vice City and has his own show called Pressing Issues. According to Alex Shrub, one of his guests, Chavez previously worked as "Sal the wheat-free clown", entertaining at birthday parties, bar mitzvas and juvenile correctional facilities. His salary was meagre, at less than $2,000, and at one point Chavez considered having a sex-change operation. He was discovered by Michelle Montanius in 1980, and the two had a brief love affair, resulting in Michelle falling pregnant.
