Template:Infobox vehicles The Medicar is an ambulance featured in Grand Theft Auto 2, serving as a substitute for the Ambulance in other Grand Theft Auto games.
Description
The vehicle is evidently similar in function as the Ambulance, but is based on a station wagon or an adapted sedan (i.e. a real-life Cadillac Eureka or Cadillac Miller-Meteor Futura), similar to those in common use in the United States during the 1940s to the 1960s. As a result, the Medicar is unique in the series that it is more slender than most of the series' van-based counterparts and features slightly superior performance.
Performance
While its handling is as underwhelming as those of the Stretch Limousine and Sports Limousine due to its long wheelbase, the vehicle can reach speeds above average, similar to other car-based emergency vehicles, and has excellent braking, and has competent steering.

Locations
- As are other emergency vehicles in the game, the Medicar appears in all three districts of Anywhere City. Its use as a medical vehicle also means it appears on the streets the same way as the Ambulance: If the player goes on a killing spree and kills many pedestrians, a Medicar will arrive, and two paramedics will get out to attempt reviving the wounded.
- Can also be found at the hospitals in the Residential District and the Industrial District.
