Needle Trax is the number one music retailer in Vice City in 1984, the setting of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. There are two stores located in Downtown and the North Point Mall in Vice Point. The Downtown location in 1986, the setting of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, would later become Rock City, and the North Point Mall location would later become Vinyl Countdown in 1986.
