For the district in the Grand Theft Auto rendition of San Andreas, see Richman (2D Universe). For the district in the Los Santos rendition of Grand Theft Auto V, see Richman (HD Universe).

Richman is one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in all of Los Santos. The residents of Richman are from the more traditional old money sect. The houses are grandiose and so are their contents. Not that we're alluding to anything, but sometimes Richman residents tend to leave their doors unlocked. Find a Boxville truck and cruise around the neighborhoods until you see something you like.
— GTA San Andreas City Guides

Richman is an affluent residential district in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Richman is located in northwestern Los Santos, west of Mulholland and north of Rodeo. It also borders two countryside counties, namely Red County and Flint County.

Character

This neighborhood is based on Bel Air and parts of Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles. Like its real-life counterpart, Richman features many large, upscale mansions, some of them with swimming pools. It is usual to find high-class vehicles and sports cars being driven around in this area. Its name is likely meant to be a joke at the affluence of the area (this place in inhabited by rich men).

Events of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Richman plays a very small role in the storyline of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, as it is primarily a residential district and there are no stores or safehouses located there. However, the land race Backroad Wanderer takes place in Richman and neighboring Mulholland exclusively.

Stationary Vehicles

  • Mower - Inside the gates of a mansion, west of the district

Trivia

  • It is possible to enter some of the mansions in Richman by activating the burglary missions from the black Boxville. However, the houses feature the same items that the player would find in any other house in any other part of the state.
