Not to be confused with Bubba.
Robert Michael Peter Luke Frances Darth Bruno Seragliano[1], commonly known as Bubby, is a character in the Grand Theft Auto series who appears as a main character in Grand Theft Auto.
History
Background
Bubby is the suspected leader of the Vercotti Crime Family and is hoping to gain revenge for his father, who was reportedly killed by the British secret service. Bubby, during the events of GTA, is being investigated for armed robbery, murder, manslaughter, pimping, extortion, bribery, possession of illegal narcotics, unlawful carnal knowledge, smoking in a no-smoking zone, double parking, treason, adultery, covetousness, idolatry and willful Joe Pesci impersonations.
Bubby is the boss of the first two chapters of the storyline of Grand Theft Auto, who gives jobs to the GTA Protagonist through an unnamed contact via payphones.
Events of Grand Theft Auto
Bubby first contacts the protagonist when his pet Sasha is kidnapped and asks them to rescue her. The protagonist pays the kidnapper by throwing the money briefcase into the kidnapper's boat under the Eagleside Bridge, and he reveals that the pet is hidden in the trunk of a red Itali. The protagonist finds her and brings her back to Bubby at the Splendido Hotel in Island City.
Bubby is later seen during one of the Vercotti Crime Family contact's secret vehicle missions, where he personally asks the protagonist to kidnap a District Attorney and take him to a meat warehouse. It is also revealed that he has an affair with the Liberty City mayoress. His wife Skye is also known to cheat on him with a "personal trainer" named Brad.
After doing several jobs for the Vercotti Crime Family and helping them take down the rival Sonetti Crime Family, the protagonist brings too much attention from the cops to the family, and Bubby books the protagonist a flight to San Andreas.
