Rockford is a district in northern Staunton Island, Liberty City. Rockford houses the Carson General Hospital, near the Staunton exit of the Porter Tunnel. The hospital is where the player would spawn to after getting killed in the premises of Staunton Island. In 1998, the setting of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, it also houses a ferry terminal. The districts of Liberty Campus, Aspatria and Fort Staunton surround the area.
