Rockstar Japan was a development studio owned by Rockstar Games headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. It was founded in 2005 and it used to work in conjunction with developer Capcom in providing Japanese localisations of various games by Rockstar. The studio was dissolved after Rockstar regained Japanese distribution rights.
Rockstar Japan has so far helped to bring the following GTA games to Japan:
- Grand Theft Auto III (2003)
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2003)
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2007)
