So Near, Yet Sonar is a mission given to Huang Lee by Zhou Ming in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. You have to collect Zhous Cargo which you destroyed in Torpedo Run for Wade Heston. The reward for completing this mission is 15 bags of Acid.
Mission objectives
In order to complete the mission the player must:
- Board the salvage boat
- Sail to the search area
- Find the sunken cargo using the sonar
- Retrieve all of Zhou's cargo
- The cargo hold's full. Take the cargo back to the jetty
Trivia
- The mission is an obvious reference to the phrase "So near, yet so far".
