Fun area and easy way to get your own tank, if you want one: Use your Hydra from the private airstrip to hover outside the compound and target and destroy the SAM sites with your guided missiles, then cross the fence and land by the hangars, enter a tank (Rhino) and dive it back to your airfield. Any vehicle that runs into you will be destroyed instantly and the tank can take an enormous amount of abuse. You can store the Rhino in either your vehicle garage beside the AC tower or in the aircraft hangar. I recommend the vehicle garage, because you're going to want to be able to jump out and get inside your safe house fast. After you save the game you have a Rhino of your very own in your garage. (btw, Rhinos are a lot of fun to use to fight gang wars in LS).
Another fun pass time when you're bored is to take out the SAM sites (just to avoid unexpected missiles up the tailpipe later) and then fly over Area 69. Within a minute or two you will see yellow blips on your RADAR as two or three other Hydras come after you. Time to dogfight, watch your RADAR to avoid red blips (heat seaking missiles) coming at you. War, it's good clean fun; they'll chase you anywhere so leading them into the airspace over LS or SF adds some new twists to the adventure. You can add more Hydras to the fun by flying over the restricted Naval base in San Fierro as well.

Does anybody know the actual location of the Combat Shotgun? I've gone through the whole underground and can't seem to find it. Not even in the halls right before the labs adjacent to the launch bay. Venca-crq (talk) 13:49, July 28, 2015 (UTC)
