Carcer City 100%
If the LC is over from any gta era,carcer city is posibily to be the new city in gta 5.Because is mostly mentioned in the games.But the unnamed city from Manhunt 2 is 1% to be the new city from gta v. RomanianFireSnake 6:27 pm, October 26th, 2011, (UTC+2)

Rewrites
I did quite a bit of rewriting.
For starters this article needs to take a neutral point of view when it comes to speculations and rumors, avoid what wikipedia calls "peacock terms", and use dry and simple tense.
Speculation can be included if there's a good reason for including it. For example, Rockstar researching in LA is a good reason to include the San Andreas speculation. But counterpoints, if they exist, should also be included. And if they are, the article should not try to take one side or another - it should present both arguments calmly, simply, and rationally.
Wilder speculation should not be included. This is why I removed the "it might be set in Vice City because we haven't had a game there for a while", because that's just too broad a piece of information to be worth basing anything on. Jeff (talk|stalk) 05:57, October 29, 2011 (UTC)

This doesn't belong in the main article, but it was posted (copypasted) to this talk page so I'll at least mention it. new info needs true citation
The wiki page has tons of assumptions, such as who the protagonist is (a 3 second close-up of a man does not mean he is the protagonist), whether or not thing such as certain aircrafts are confirmed and are drivable, and what platforms the game will be released on and in what regions.
Even the location can't be 100% confirmed, only strongly implied.

Loctaion

I found this on a website and if this is real i will be so happy. read over and see if this is real. this is not spam.
- Bullshit. Firstly a guy from Playstation Magazine wouldn't be releasing info about GTA V on a GTA Forum, they'd release it in there magazine or on their website. Secondly we saw who the protagonist is and, unless you can use multiple protagonists though due to the fact that we got to hear the background of just one guy its unlikely, if is a white middle-aged man. Thirdly this just seems like a well thought out GTA wishlist, with a few obvious faults, he also said he got to see 30 minutes of in game footage but all the things he said he saw, including a 15 minute car journey, would take a lot more than 30 minutes. Finally, it is extremely unlikely this is genuine, some of this stuff will probably feature in the game but this is just some troll. Tom Talk 11:17, November 5, 2011 (UTC)

- From what i have heard it is based of the number "2405" on a fore sale sign in the trailer, considering R* is originally british, and the british write there dates as MM/DD/YY, or in this case 5/24/[2012]. On the Zavvi website it says 23rd November 2012 for the GTA V release date

It says 23rd November for all platforms so I doubt this will be the release date as traditionaly the PC version is released several months after the console release.
