The coat of arms is not the russians coat. Is very similar but is spanish, of Carlos I of Spain, V of Germany. You can see in the coat of arms the coat of The Crown of Castile (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Royal_Banner_of_the_Crown_of_Castille_(Habsbourg_Style).svg), Kingdom of León (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Banner_of_arms_kingdom_of_Leon.svg) and the Kingdom of Aragón (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Si%C3%B1al_d%27Arag%C3%B3n.svg). The bicephalous eagle and the Chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece are for the Holy Roman Empire.

It should be noted that, though the crest does indeed possess many aspects of numerous Spanish symbols in the main crest, it also features aspects of Freemasonry - the bicephalous eagle with a crown above being the insignia of a 33rd Degree Freemason of the Scottish RIte. While it was featured in the Holy Roman Empire, it was featured before that in the coat of arms of the Byzantine Empire (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d9/Palaiologos-Dynasty-Eagle.svg ), and is still featured in the modern Russian coat of arms(http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f2/Coat_of_Arms_of_the_Russian_Federation.svg ) - unless the Luxor was invented or credited to Byzantines or Holy Romans, it would only make sense for that to be Russian. Similarly, though the Castille, Leon and Aragon crests are featured, I do not recognize the crest on the bottom left from any coats I have studied. The crown I credited to the Russian Empires lesser known coat of arms (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/ae/Lesser_Coat_of_Arms_of_Russian_Empire.svg ), though due to resolution I could easily be wrong. For these reasons I feel it is not smart nor proper to credit the crest to one single country or empires crests. FallenSanity3:29PM, 24 November EST

Do we really need a separate infobox for the Deluxe variant? I mean, it's just a livery variant that will likely cost more and nothing else. It just makes the page look messy. Plus, the Swift Flying Bravo doesn't even have a separate infobox even though it's probably the exact same case. 10:07, June 8, 2015 (UTC)

: Depends. Also, the official info states both as Buckingham Luxor <u>Deluxe</u> and Buckingham Swift <u>Deluxe</u>, just like the Jester/Massacro Racecar. Unless, of course, that there's no real difference between them, but only when the DLC is released. <span style="background-color:#00008B; border:4px ridge black; color:#F8F8FF; font-family:system;"> SWAT Cam F </span> <span style="font-family:agency fb;">Dispatch </span> <span style="background-color:#000000;">Data Files </span> 22:30, June 8, 2015 (UTC)

Question

Why is this named the Luxor when there is no proof that its a Luxor? It looks just like the Shamal.

Please sign your comment with ~~~~. It's confirmed as the Luxor on the GTA V website. Instulent (talk) 19:12, August 15, 2013 (UTC)

Yep, the filename on the website is "Luxor.jpg". Unless someone at Rockstar got it wrong, which isn't totally unplausible to guss, this is the Luxor. (Henriquedematos (talk) 19:38, August 15, 2013 (UTC))

There was a discussion on GTAForums and pretty much everyone agreed that this supposed Luxor and Shamal look exactly the same. Perhaps Rockstar just named the photo on the website Luxor.jpg without a care? I mean why make two identical looking private jets and give them different names? But I could be wrong, maybe one of them can fly higher, faster, and/or has a different interior -- if the interior is even accessible of course. Zulu2065 (talk) 17:54, August 16, 2013 (UTC)

Unknown private jet

I though about that too, despite, like I said before, seeming unlikely to me that Rockstar would name the file wrong. Furthermore, did someone notice that there appears to be a private jet different from all we've seen before in the background of the Elitás Travel picture? If the Rockstar filename is wrong, maybe that is actually the Luxor, who knows? (Henriquedematos (talk) 18:24, August 16, 2013 (UTC))

Luxor?

Possible Luxor

I think that the Luxor is this airplane shown in Max Payne 3 (see right side of page) alongside all of the other airplanes that proved to be included in GTA V (Titan, Hydra, Shamal). The image shown currently on the page is a black Shamal that somebody at Rockstar probably named incorrectly. The other possible Luxor posted above my picture is a different commercial jet, as the elevator wing is lower than on the Luxor I have posted. Rlctstealth (talk) 00:29, August 20, 2013 (UTC)

The coats of arms

Luxor Deluxe
