Isn't this gun a Tec-9 submachine gun? It looks nearly identical to me. Smashbro8-Sig-pt1 (Smashbro8-Sig-pt2) 21:15, October 15, 2015 (UTC)Smashbro8

It is, however Rockstar have officially named it "Machine Pistol". Note this page was created years before the announcement of this update. Monkeypolice188-Signature-2Monkeypolice188-Signature-4Monkeypolice188-Signature-3 21:17, October 15, 2015 (UTC)
Then, it needs a proper page. This one is about machine pistols in general, not about the weapon named "Machine Pistol". BodyArmor-GTACW-Android SWAT Cam F VehicleWeapon-GTACW-Android Detonator-GTACW-Android Crate-GTACW-Android 22:11, October 15, 2015 (UTC)
Sorted. This acts similar to the Machine Gun page: this article doesn't document the details of a specific game's Machine Pistol, only overviews what Machine Pistols are,  similar to how the Machine Gun article works.
After a bit of a kerfuffle,  I've managed to sort things out. At first,  I made a Machine Pistol (GTA Online) article, which posed useless since that'd be like making an article called 'Sub-Machine Gun (GTA V)', where the upcoming  Machine Pistol is similar to the older games' equivalent,  the TEC 9. Therefore I've updated the TEC 9 article as if it were like the MP5 article,  adding the new game's equivalent.  After all,  this 'Machine Pistol' looks identical to the TEC 9. There was no need to make a separete page for the "Machine Pistol" in the new GTA Online DLC, since many weapons changed their names but their appearance remain unchaged (i.e. M249, which has a differente name in each game it appears) EagleIcon AndreEagle17 PS3 Triangle PS3 Cross PS3 Circle 13:41, October 16, 2015 (UTC)
