Vehicle costs[]

Just a consideration - maybe we could add a table listing the costs to replace each vehicle with/without modifications?  LazarouDave  12:40, April 27, 2015 (UTC)

Insuring multiple cars of the same model[]

When I try in game, I can't insure two different cars of the same model. I haven't seen any information on this anywhere, and I haven't tested it thoroughly yet – but I'm thinking that it could have to do with that there's no way to differentiate between different cars of the same model in the "Claim your car"-menu when phoning Mors Mutual. Can anyone test this further? (I will too as soon as I have time) MidoriMutsu (talk) 01:31, June 4, 2015 (UTC)

Tried again today, and multiple insurance of the same model of car works, so what I thought above is obviously not correct. Probably a lag related thing. MidoriMutsu (talk) 07:10, June 4, 2015 (UTC)

Paying for Destoryed Vehicle Insurance[]

I noticed at the bottom of the page, in the trivia section, it says that as of patch 1.16 - players no longer have to pay for the insurance costs, if the player who destroyed the car does not have the money to pay it. is this true? i mean i don't really have any reason to doubt it, but i just want to know if i can drive around in the osiris, and not have to worry about a $24,000 insurance bill. i havn't been driving my expensive vehicles around public lobbies because my brother told me that in the past he'd have to pay the costs. Absolutely no worries to have. As long as you don't destroy it by any means (driving it into bombs, setting fire, exploding from height drops or drowning it in water), the destroyer will have to pay for it. If they don't have enough to pay for it, Mors Mutual themselves will pay for it, so you won't have to :) Dispatch Unit - Monkeypolice188 "Put your hands up!" you don't pay for insurance if you drown it. can someone confirm this —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alvin2503 (talkcontribs) Please remember to sign your talk page messages with ~~~~.

Depends on the situation. If you were "driving" the vehicle when it went into the water (in the driver seat, recently jumped out), then you would have to pay insurance. However, if the car was pushed in by something beyond the vehicle's power (rammed in, dropped by Cargobob) then nobody has to pay insurance, as according to the game, nobody is to blame for it.
