Wimp pedestrian in San Andreas[]

I noticed this a while back, but have only come forward now as it isn't on this page. There is a pedestrian that appears everywhere (LS, Country, SF and LV) who is black, wears a grey and white jacket and has beige trousers who is never hostile, despite what happens. Trust me, I have tried many times and he always flees, he never attacks. Some of his lines are "Raise up dude!" and "Oh hell no!" Check it out when you have the time. Cool![]

That sounds really interesting! I'll have to check it out.

Well, one year later and it turns out he can fight you, but only if you reply negatively to whatever he says. Once you throw the first punch, he will still run off anyway. AlexGRFan97 (talk) 16:59, January 14, 2014 (UTC)

Recurring pedestrians[]

Just wanted to add an observation that sort of related to the content of this article. In the Ballad of Gay Tony there are areas where I see the same pedestrian in the same screen plenty of times. Example: In the North Holland area in northwest Algonquin, on the same half of the block, I observed the same guy (fat, older biker with grey hair and a long grey beard, walks with a bit of a hunch) was spawned at least five times and possibly more. Javey Johnson (talk) 04:18, January 6, 2013 (UTC)

Gallery page needed or not?[]

Since every GTA game has lots of pedestrian models, isn't the page should have an "Gallery" section or page? Like we have on vehicle and weapon pages?

Separate article for GTAV pedestrians[]

Has anyone considered moving most of the details of GTAV's pedestrians to its own article? The reason I'm asking this is because there's a lot more information about the game's pedestrians than any other featured in this article, and I feel adding more to this article would make it much larger than it needs to be. Also pointing out is a lot of the information about that game's pedestrians is not in this article. UnpublishedPuns33 (talk) 19:25, April 16, 2020 (UTC)

I sort of agree. I have a (long-term) plan in mind to greatly expand this article into sub pages for the "General Population" in every game, with galleries contained in the sub-pages... e.g Pedestrians/GTAV. Thanks to tools like the Content Creator and Director Mode, the casual player has a lot more population information available to them in GTAV without even needing to dig into game files, so the GTAV version will be substantially more detailed than the other games. Crosswalks in GTAO[]

Since this article is tagged for cleanup, I'll just leave this here: a couple of Youtubers have pointed out that, unlike in storymode, GTA Online pedestrians tend not to use crosswalks but just remain on whatever block they're located, unless they are frightened in which case they'll cross the street or run down it. I actually haven't confirmed this myself but if true that's a notable behavior difference worth noting. The bit about them complimenting an expensive car has a counterpoint; I got the same response driving past one in that really rusty-looking RV, so it doesn't seem to matter what vehicle you drive except the "compliment" can be interpreted as sarcasm. One other note is that GTAV and GTAO pedestrians can sometimes spout dialogue that is deadly serious, and even metafictional. I overheard a man get some bad medical news over his cell phone, and the day after seeing the GTA-inspired Free Guy I honestly heard a pedestrian outside my nightclub questioning the nature of her repetitive existence! 23skidoo (talk) 15:32, 12 December 2021 (UTC)

Adding individual ped pages[]

Should we make a page for each individual ped from the games? -—Preceding unsigned comment added by Jackosn55 (talkcontribs) 13:44, 3 January 2024 Please remember to sign your talk page messages with ~~~~.
