Consider adding the "Taxi Express" from GTA 2 to the gallery Optimist33gta 23:38, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
This is kind of off-topic but do modern Chevrolet Impalas exist as taxis? I only see Dodge Caravans, Ford Crown Victorias and Mercury Grand Marquises as taxis. I don't think I've ever seen an Impala one but then again that is probably for variety.--Thescarydude 16:31, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- Not in New York atleast. The list of models approved for use is here, and includes the Chevy Malibu. The Prius is a popular model. Rockstar should really have made a Dilettante taxi. Hugo Stiglitz 01:08, December 30, 2009 (UTC)
I can tell you that in San Andreas, you (the player) can never be a passenger in a cab. GTAA and LCS probably did this, too. I think it was until VCS that brought the feature from Vice City back.--Spaceeinstein 17:15, September 27, 2009 (UTC)
Why is this tagged as "unreleased" feature? Taxis exist in previous GTA games. Only because there's a screenshot of the unreleased game where there MAY be a taxi that doesn't mean that the future is unreleased because the newest game is also unreleased. If you're gonna tag every feature that existed in previous games and MAY or MAY NOT exist in future games as unreleased, then go ahead, tag Weapons, all vehicles, collectibles, pedestrians etc. as unreleased. But if you're sane, please remove the simply out-of-place "unreleased feature" crap AND KEEP IT THAT WAY.
