September 17 has passed and Take Two finally reveals the results of Grand Theft Auto V's launch, and Rockstar can be very proud.
According to IGN, Grand Theft Auto V made $8oo million in day one, thus becoming the biggest entertainment launch of all time, almost twice the amount of money made by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
It should be noted that GTAV is yet to launch in Japan or Brazil, so expect this number to grow even bigger. On another note, one analyst said he thinks V will make $1 billion by the end of September - I guess he was right.
