During the yesterday's argument about renaming Jet to "747", I have said about how to keep one page for all Police Cruisers without messing everything.

"Police Cruiser has to be an exception because it would only mess the page if it was together. (though I actually have an idea on how to eliminate it, and keep only one Police Cruiser page for all "cruisers" without messing up everything)"

Actually when I wrote this, I didn't knew for a fact if that would be a good solution since I actually haven't even had a clue if that'd actually work. Anyway, I was intrigued to try it out. Done a little test with the use of a "Tabber" and it actually is looking good without losing any content.

As you can see from the previews right here, the headers are missing. I looked around the help pages and found how to enable them.

Pasting this code into MediaWiki:Wikia.css will enable the headers on the tabber.

.tabberlive .tabbertab h2, .tabberlive .tabbertab h3 {
display:block !important;

I have not yet tried actually publishing a test, so I don't know whether the Table of Contents will show.

Q: But the headers don't work!
A: The above code will enable them.
Q: This idea is [insert "good" or "bad" here]. Do you have any other ideas to suggest?
A: I do have another idea, but it is not for one and only one page. Multiple ones are required. It's pretty much a tabber, but with bigger buttons and that needs multiple pages (Police Cruiser/Buffalo, Police Cruiser/Interceptor, etc.) and it has to keep the main one and also a bunch of new templates need to be created.
Q: Wouldn't this break the links? How are you planning to link to a specific page?
A: Well, this one is hard to answer. My very little skills of wiki formatting and stuff gives me only option but to guess. I'm not sure if that'll work, but you could try linking it to the tab just like linking it to a header. If that doesn't work, maybe creating a header corresponding to the variant would do the trick.
Q: But why are you trying to force all vehicle variants into one page?
A: I'm not exactly trying to make all variants in one page. I only want to use this at pages where vehicles share the same in game name, for example: Boxville and Postal Van | Police Cruiser, Police Buffalo and Interceptor | Burrito and Bugstars Van | Buzzard Attack Chopper and Buzzard (These pages could be separated by making own pages for both or just simply by adding tabs to separate, keeping one page.). The ones I'm still unsure of are: Rumpo and Newsvan (GTA V) | Mesa and Merryweather Mesa | Police Maverick and Air Ambulance as these seem fine to me. But yeah, it's mainly for vehicles that share the very same in game name.

Not only this could be used for vehicles, but also for weapons, buildings, etc.

I don't have much problems with the current setup, but I thought of submitting the idea - always worth giving it a go. I would like to hear your opinions on this idea :)
