The Ventoso is a customized moped/motorized bicycle featured exclusively in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories[]
Based on a late 1970s moped or a motorized bicycle, the Ventoso is evidently distinguishable by its compact framing and comes with a back-mounted, hard cover pannier, similar to the Pizza Boy. The Ventoso resembles a Piaggio Ciao moped with the front appearing more similar to a Honda Super Cub, but it is customized with an electric motor instead of a two-stroke engine (this is evidenced by the lack of exhaust pipes).
Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories[]
Despite its appearance, the Ventoso performs apparently better than the Faggio scooter, with higher top speed, higher acceleration and lighter weight.
GTA Vice City Stories Overview[]

Special Variants[]
- Two special Ventoso mopeds are available in The Bum Deal. They both have unique handling properties. One of them is parked in front of the White Stallionz Bar. The other one is used by Forbes to escape. They can be taken and simply put in a garage during the mission. Once the mission is passed, the garage should be visited again so that the vehicles are saved properly.
- A heavy, water-proof Ventoso, that also has unique handling, is available during Brawn of the Dead. After taking care of the zombies in the mall, a helicopter should be obtained. This Ventoso will be parked on top of the north-west leg of the mall building, so that is the landing area. The woman who helped Victor take down the waves of zombies is riding it. She can be knocked off, and then the Ventoso can be taken to a garage. In the PSP version of the game, the Ventoso seems to be stuck, but just reversing and accelerating should help fix the problem. The mission should afterwards be finished. Once it is done, the garage in which the Ventoso was placed should be checked again, so that it is saved properly.
Prominent Appearances in Missions[]
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories[]
- Conduct Unbecoming - A Ventoso is parked next to the gates of Fort Baxter after Victor Vance gets dishonorably discharged from the army.
- The Bum Deal - A Ventoso is parked outside the White Stallionz Bar. Later, Forbes will escape using a Ventoso.
Locations[]
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories[]
- Occasionally seen driving around Vice Point.
- A bullet-proof version can be purchased near King Knuts in Downtown for $2,500 after passing the mission To Victor, the Spoils (only on the PS2 version of the game).
Trivia[]
General[]
- Ventoso is Spanish, Portuguese and Italian for "windy".
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories[]
- Despite being an electric vehicle similar to the Caddy, the Ventoso still has the same engine sound as the Faggio, only being higher-pitched and softer.
- It is one of ten electric vehicles in the GTA Series, the others being the RC Bandit, Baggage Handler, Airtug, Caddy, Forklift, Voltic, Khamelion and Surge.
