Given Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas' gang theme, vernacular is very common; most prevalently, that of African-Americans. To a lesser extent, Hispanic vernacular is also present.

African-American Vernacular

These are words that may be used by Grove Street Families and the Ballas as well as CJ, Ryder and Big Smoke.
