Walkie Talkie Mission 1 is a mission in Grand Theft Auto: London 1969 level 2, Mods and Sods, given to the Protagonist by the London Mob. It is available after attempting the four phonebox missions.

The mission begins with the protagonist being told that Albert Crisp is a very sophisticated man who loves art and there are some valuable paintings available from his contact at the museum in northwest Westminster: a German named Dr. Zel. After collecting the paintings from Zel however, it is revealed he actually stole them from the museum so they need to be quickly taken back to the garage in north Soho. Once the paintings have been dropped off, the protagonist is told that Special Branch have been brought in to investigate the art theft and all loose ends need to be taken of. The protagonist must go and fetch a London Cab from the taxi rank in east Bow and will then have 40 seconds to get to the pub in north Soho in order to pick up Dr. Zel. After picking him up, the protagonist then has to take him down to the docklands in northeast Bermondsey where they will find a parked Sweets Van. The protagonist must get in the van and use it to nudge the cab into the river in order to complete the mission.

The player will be awarded 3,000 points and a +1 score multiplier for completing the mission.

  • In the PC version, Dr. Zel is referred to as being German; in the PlayStation version, he is referred to as being Welsh
  • The pub that the protagonist picks Dr. Zel up from is actually the garage they took the paintings too.
