A wheelie in GTA IV.

A Wheelie is a maneuver that can be done with bicycles and motorcycles; popping a wheelie gives a bonus, similar to doing a unique stunt jump.

To pop a wheelie, press and hold the left dialog stick back. Holding the stick too far back will cause the player character to lose balance and fall off the bike. The longer one holds the wheelie, the larger the monetary bonus. It's generally a good idea to get up some speed first, then lift and stop speeding.

This maneuver can be done in all main installments of the series from Vice City onwards, specifically: Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Grand Theft Auto IV, Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City, and Grand Theft Auto V.

Wheelie-capable motorcycles

The following are motorcycles that can pop a wheelie:

Any bicycle can also be used to pop a wheelie aside from the Cruiser, although the best one to use is the BMX.
