Willis is a nine-block long neighborhood in Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars located in central Dukes.
Description[]
Grand Theft Auto IV[]
Willis is bounded by Meadow Hills to the west, Meadows Park to the north, Francis International Airport to the east, and Beechwood City to the south. It is a working to middle-class neighborhood with a sizable Jamaican diaspora. The area is residential in the west and commercial in the east; in the commercial district, businesses are dwarfed by the Big Willis Mall located on the southeast corner of Tudor Street and Saratoga Avenue. Willis is controlled by the Yardies street gang, who often make a prescene in the neighborhood from nearby Beechwood City
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars[]
In GTA Chinatown Wars, the district is quasi identical, though it is then claimed by the Angels of Death. They seemed to have expelled the rival Yardies in 2009 as seen during Faster Pusher Man! Sell! Sell!. They use the Willis Community Center as a hideout.
Influence[]
Willis is based on the Queens and New York neighborhoods of Hollis, Jamaica, and Forest Hills.
