YayFactory-Exterior-GTASA

The Yay Factory is a location in San Fierro in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Description

It is a secret factory producing Drugs by the Loco Syndicate. It is located in Doherty, very close to the driving school and the Doherty Safe House. It is a large complex consisting of a warehouse and a storage building, and various tanks and other drug-manufacturing machinery can be found inside. There are also various shipping containers scattered about the facility, and the entire complex is surrounded by a wall. A large ramp can also be found there, which is part of the unique stunt jumps.

Following the events of the mission Yay-Ka-Boom-Boom, the appearance of the factory changes, with the building's interior becoming charrred and devoid of machinery, while the roof collapses into the building.

Events of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

The factory makes a minor appearance in the mission Outrider, where Carl Johnson is tasked by T-Bone Mendez and Mike Toreno to escort a San Fierro Rifa van to the factory, protecting it from various roadblocks set up by the rival Da Nang Boys gang.

In the mission Yay-Ka-Boom-Boom, Carl, under the orders of Triad leader Wu Zi Mu, fights the workers of the factory, drives a car full of explosives inside the main laboratory and escapes before the it explodes. His attack is successful, as the explosion severely damages much of the facility's drug manufacturing equipment killing most of the workforce. Due to the workers having locked the main access, Carl is forced to hijack a car and drive out the factory using a ramp. During the mission, there is a gate at the entrance, although it is the only time it is seen (out of mission, the area is unrestricted).
