Zorba Philippidis is a character in the Grand Theft Auto series who appears as a minor character in Grand Theft Auto IV.
He was the Captain of the Platypus, a boat in the Merchant Navy. Its crew consisted of people from across the world, including Greece, Russia, Egypt, Taiwan, Thailand, China and Serbia. The ship was used to smuggle drugs, diamonds, and cars into Liberty City. This ship also is the ship that brought Niko Bellic to Liberty City.
Shortly after the Platypus docked in Broker, the crew disembarked and disappeared. Zorba was found floating in the Humboldt River. An autopsy revealed he had drowned, and that he also had an immense amount of alcohol in his system.
His remains were returned to his wife in Thailand.
